The Sokoto State Civil Service Commission has announced the commencement of its 2025 recruitment exercise, offering 3,000 job opportunities for qualified graduates. According to a public statement issued, the recruitment process will begin on Monday, 22nd September 2025, and end on 6th October 2025.
The Commission noted, “This is to inform all interested graduates wishing to take up job appointment with Sokoto State government Civil Service Commission that, recruitment process begins on Monday 22nd of September 2025 and ends on the 6th of October 2025. Total Jobs 3,000.”
The general requirements are listed as follows:
i. Must be a Sokoto State indigene
ii. Age between 18-35 years (exceptions may apply)
iii. Qualification: NCE, HND, or Degree
iv. Medical fitness certificate
Applicants are expected to obtain their forms free from their local governments of origin. After that, they must proceed to the official recruitment portal at https://employment.sokotostate.gov.ng to fill in all necessary details.
The Commission advised applicants to carefully follow all steps while filling their forms online. These include having a stable internet connection, registering with a valid email and phone number, and logging in with credentials if already registered. They are also required to complete all mandatory fields such as biodata and upload clear scanned documents, including educational certificates, proof of indigene, birth certificate, NIN, and a valid identification. Applicants will also be required to snap a picture at the time of filling the form.
The notice stressed that only one application should be submitted, warning that multiple submissions may lead to disqualification. It further stated, “The recruitment process is free. Do not pay anyone for the exercise.”
Shortlisted candidates will be notified through their registered email or via the portal. Any further screening or tests will also be communicated officially. The Commission reminded applicants that the deadline for all submissions remains 6th October 2025.

The Sokoto State recruitment committee wishes to inform members of the public that it has extended the deadline for the closure of the recruitment portal from October 6 to October 12. This is to enable more qualified Sokoto State indigenes to apply.
