Stanbic IBTC Holdings has announced the commencement of applications for its 2026 Digital Graduate Trainee Programme, aimed at attracting young, digitally skilled Nigerians into its workforce.
The bank, in a statement on Monday, said the programme was designed to identify and develop resourceful candidates who would drive its digital and technology objectives.
According to the firm, the initiative offers a fast-tracked career path for individuals passionate about innovation and digital transformation within the financial services sector.
The programme, which falls under its Personal and Private Banking segment, is open to applicants with a minimum of a Second Class Upper degree or its equivalent in Information Technology-related courses from accredited universities.
It added that candidates must possess at least five credits, including Mathematics and English, in GCE, NECO, or its equivalent, and must not be older than 26 years at the point of engagement.
Applicants are also required to have completed the National Youth Service Corps programme and possess a valid discharge certificate.
Stanbic IBTC stated that prospective candidates must clearly indicate their date of birth, gender, and class of degree during the application process.
The bank noted that successful applicants are expected to demonstrate competencies in areas such as programming, cloud computing, UI/UX design, cybersecurity, and data analytics, among others.
It added that strong communication skills, critical thinking, leadership ability, and integrity are essential attributes for candidates.
The application process involves completing an initial form and finalising submission through an online recruitment platform.
The bank warned applicants to be cautious of fraud, reiterating that it does not request payment at any stage of its recruitment process.
Applications for the programme will close on April 6, 2026.
