SunTrust Bank Nigeria Limited has launched YESMONEY, a new mobile platform focused on secure digital transactions, savings, microloans, and a digital marketplace. The event took place at the Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, with regulators, technology partners, financial agents, and media representatives present to witness the rollout.
Dr. Afolasade Alonge, Regional Business Executive for Lagos and the South-West, described YESMONEY as a major step in the bank’s digital growth. She said the platform was designed to support everyday users who need simple and safe financial tools. “YESMONEY was built for everyday Nigerians. The trader, the artisan, the student, and the small business owner. It offers them the power to save, transact, and access credit safely from their mobile phones,” she said.
The platform introduces an integrated digital marketplace where users can buy, sell, and make payments with confidence. According to Sunday Olaniyan, Head of E-Business, YESMONEY brings essential financial services into one space and keeps them available at any time. “We are simplifying finance and making inclusion real. With YESMONEY, users can manage their finances with the same ease they chat or shop online,” he noted.
