The Taraba State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) has received a significant donation of food items from the North East Development Commission (NEDC), aimed at boosting emergency response and disaster relief efforts in the state.

This development strengthens Taraba SEMA’s role in providing humanitarian assistance to vulnerable groups, especially during times of crisis. The items were officially handed over by the NEDC, reaffirming the Commission’s dedication to supporting disaster management agencies in Nigeria.

According to officials, this move aligns with the ongoing collaboration between the NEDC and the Taraba State Government, under the leadership of Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas. Their joint efforts have improved the state’s ability to quickly address emergencies and provide timely help to affected communities.
