July 20, 2025 – A Facebook post making rounds online has stirred conversation among Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) trainers, following a claim that accreditation has officially started.

Recall that TVET trainers recruitment was recently conducted, and successful trainers will be paid N30,000 per student. Accreditation has started, according to circulating reports.

According to a post, “Accreditation process has commenced! I’ve just received a call from TVET officials and had a productive meeting at their state office. They’re visiting my training center tomorrow (Monday) for accreditation.”

The poster also promised updates: “I’ll be sharing live updates on my Facebook page during their visit, so be sure to follow for real-time insights!”

Although this development is not yet officially confirmed, the post has quickly gained attention online.

News Update:

The FME TVET initiative has commenced the verification process for accreditation centers for trainers. It is expected that applicants’ dashboards will be updated to “Approved” by the last week of July. The program is scheduled to begin in the first week of August 2025.
