Vet Konect Limited has invited qualified and experienced companies to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) to supply Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for trainees participating in the IDEAS–TVET Project.

The organisation, which is implementing the IDEAS–TVET initiative, is seeking reliable suppliers capable of providing essential safety equipment required for crop production training activities under the programme.

The IDEAS–TVET Project focuses on strengthening technical and vocational education and training for young people through structured learning, hands-on practice, and industry engagement. As part of the practical training component, trainees will require protective equipment to ensure safety during farm and crop production activities.

Vet Konect Limited stated that the selected vendor or vendors will be responsible for the supply and delivery of PPE items needed for the training programme.

The safety equipment expected from suppliers may include protective gloves, safety boots, nose masks or respirators, protective overalls or coveralls, safety goggles, and protective hats or helmets where necessary.

While these items form the core of the procurement, the organisation noted that the exact quantities and technical specifications of the PPE will only be shared with companies that are shortlisted after the Expression of Interest stage.

Companies interested in the opportunity must meet certain eligibility conditions. Vet Konect Limited stated that applicants must be registered businesses with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) or another recognised regulatory authority and must have been registered for at least two years.

In addition, companies are expected to demonstrate proven experience in supplying PPE or other safety equipment. Evidence of previous similar contracts successfully completed will also be required.

Applicants must also show that they have the operational and financial capacity to deliver the equipment within the required timelines.

Interested companies are required to submit their CAC certificate together with a formal letter of Expression of Interest through the following form: https://bit.ly/EOIPPEsIDEAs

The submission should be addressed to the Training Project Manager, Vet Konect Limited, with the heading: “Expression of Interest – Procurement of PPEs for Crop Production Trainees for IDEAS – TVET Project.”

All Expressions of Interest must be submitted on or before 11 March 2026 by 4pm.
