With reference to our circular NO. FME/S/1348/C.347/Vol. 1/9 dated 9th October, 2025, I am directed to inform you that the Verification Exercise by the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation earlier scheduled to commence on the 20th October, 2025 has now been put on hold.

A new date for the commencement of the exercise would be communicated in due course. Please, ensure to circulate this information to all staff.”

The internal circular was signed by OJINTA N. J. (Mrs.), Deputy Director (APD), for the Director, Human Resource Management.

It remains uncertain, since this is an internal circular, whether the suspension applies only to the Federal Ministry of Education or to all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.

Meanwhile, Nigeriastartupact.ng had earlier reported that the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) stated that the Personnel and Skills Gap Analysis Exercise (PASGA) was designed to be transparent, participatory, and confidential.

Tagged “Building Skills, Closing Gaps,” the verification and audit exercise was initially scheduled to run from October 15 to November 14, 2025, with the aim of strengthening human resource management and improving public service performance across federal institutions.
