WealthGate Africa, a real estate and wealth development company, has empowered women with practical financial knowledge through its recently held Women Winning With Wealth initiative. The programme focused on promoting long-term financial growth, stability and independence among women.
The event, which took place in Lagos, drew women from diverse professional and entrepreneurial backgrounds. It featured intensive sessions on wealth creation, smart investment strategies and effective financial structuring. Participants were introduced to practical methods for building sustainable wealth through land banking, agriculture and structured investment planning. Speaking at the event, Founder of WealthGate Africa, Dr Mayowa Owolabi, emphasised the importance of financial literacy as a key driver for women’s empowerment. “Financial education is no longer optional for women who desire independence and long-term security. When women understand how money works, they are better positioned to make informed decisions that shape their future,” she said.
The sessions explored how women can take advantage of financial planning, explore income-generation opportunities and adopt real estate as a stable asset class. Participants also learnt about land banking opportunities as a strategy for long-term returns and agricultural investments as a means of diversifying wealth.
