Women Environmental Programme has announced a new grant under the Strengthening Peace and Resilience through Climate Smart Agriculture project, also known as SPAR. The organisation said the initiative aims to boost food security, raise household income, and improve climate resilience for vulnerable farming and pastoral communities in Benue and Katsina States.
According to the team, the intervention is supported by the Strengthening Peace and Resilience in Nigeria Programme, a UK FCDO initiative implemented by Tetra Tech International Development. The programme added, “We appreciate ActionAid Nigeria and other implementing partners for their support in making this possible.”
