The Yobe State Government is set to support over 1,000 direct and 7,000 indirect beneficiaries under Governor Mai Mala Buni’s inclusive seasonal support for vulnerable families during Christmas and the New Year 2026.
The programme, titled “Extends Inclusive Christmas Seasonal Food Basket Support to Communities in Yobe State,” will hold on December 20, 2025, in Damaturu. According to the government, the support is meant to complement household food baskets, strengthen family unity, and ensure vulnerable households share festive joy.
A statement said the initiative is to ensure “no family is left out during the season” across communities statewide this year.
