The Zaria Local Government has announced a mop-up physical screening exercise for students seeking to benefit from the Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen Educational Financial Assistance.
The screening is targeted at students of tertiary institutions who were previously unable to complete the earlier verification process.
According to the official notice, the mop-up screening will be held on Saturday, 19th July 2025. Eligible participants include students from IJMB, NCE, ND, HND, and Degree programmes (100 to 500 level) whose names appeared on the official screening lists published between Saturday, 5th July and Monday, 14th July 2025 but missed the initial exercise.
Also invited are students who were not interviewed earlier due to programme classification errors. “For example, HND students who were mistakenly placed under Degree categories should attend on this date,” the notice added.
Further screening sessions will continue on Sunday, 20th and Monday, 21st July 2025. These sessions are specifically for students who correctly uploaded their details but could not find their names on the previously displayed lists. “A new list containing these names will be displayed on the above dates,” the notice confirmed.
Physical appearance is compulsory, and proxy representation is strictly prohibited. All participants are expected to come with original copies of the following:
a. Admission Letter
b. Evidence of payment of current registration fees
c. Zaria Local Government Indigene Certificate
