The African Centre for Leadership, Strategy & Development (Centre LSD) has announced internship openings for passionate young changemakers in Abuja, Nigeria. The organization is inviting applications for full-time positions in Leadership, Strategy, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), and Videography.
According to Centre LSD, the internship program aims to provide hands-on experience, mentorship, and an opportunity for young people to contribute to real projects shaping leadership and development across Africa. “We’re inviting passionate young changemakers to join us as interns in Leadership, Strategy, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), and Videography. This program gives them the chance to gain hands-on experience and mentorship,” the statement read.
The Centre explained that the initiative is part of its commitment to nurturing young professionals and strengthening institutional impact. Interested candidates can apply for the roles of Intern – Leadership, Intern – Strategy, Intern – Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), or Videography Intern.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree, HND, or be currently studying in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Economics, Political Science, Development Studies, Public Administration, or Mass Communication. Candidates are expected to have strong research, analytical, writing, and communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
The Centre added that “basic knowledge of digital or data tools such as Excel, SPSS, Power BI, or video editing software will be an added advantage.” Applicants are also expected to be passionate, proactive, organized, and eager to learn, with creativity and attention to detail being key qualities.
To apply, candidates are required to submit a detailed CV not exceeding three pages and a cover letter highlighting relevant experience and motivation. Videography applicants should include links to previous video projects or showreels. Applications should be sent to hr@centrelsd.org with the subject line corresponding to the preferred position.
