The Gombe State Government has announced a recruitment notice for qualified applicants to fill limited vacancies for the position of Permanent Secretary in the Gombe State Civil Service. The announcement was issued by the Office of the Head of Civil Service in collaboration with the Gombe State Civil Service Commission, inviting eligible applicants to also submit their applications.
According to the statement, applicants must be indigenes of Gombe State and must have reached fifty years of age by December 2025. They must also have a minimum of twenty-seven years of cognate experience in the Public Service and must currently hold the rank of Director or its equivalent. Additionally, applicants are expected to be of honest disposition, possess impeccable character, demonstrate commitment to Public Service ideals, and be physically fit.
“All applications should be submitted in soft copy to the Office of the Head of Civil Service via email: yusufjibrin@gmail.com, and ten hard copies of the same application should be delivered to the Office of the Head of Civil Service on or before 20th November, 2025,” the notice stated. It added that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for the written examination and interview.
