The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board has again emerged winner of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council Transparency and Efficiency Champion Award for the fourth straight year. The Board held the top position in the Ease of Doing Business rankings in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.
The award was presented on December 2, 2025, at the State House in Abuja. Executive Secretary Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe was represented by the Acting Director, Monitoring and Evaluation, Mr. Omomehin Ajimijaye, who highlighted that the achievement aligns with policy reforms and ongoing management goals.
This recognition emphasizes NCDMB’s operational excellence, teamwork, and strong engagement with partners and industry stakeholders. It reflects the Board’s commitment to efficiency, transparency, and quality service delivery across its operations.
The PEBEC Awards and Gala Night brought together key stakeholders to celebrate public service reforms. Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima chaired the event, while the Director General of PEBEC, Princess Zarah Audu, applauded the Board for automating processes to reduce human interference, urging other agencies to “adopt similar approaches” in improving service delivery.
NCDMB also received the Reform Champion Award, which was presented to Engr. Cityfaith Baribor Zorasi for exceptional performance as the Board’s liaison with PEBEC.
The Board reiterated its commitment to strengthening institutional performance, promoting local industry growth under the NOGICD Act of 2010, and raising service standards in the future. It thanked PEBEC for the recognition and commended its staff for their dedication, saying, “Congratulations to the entire NCDMB team.”
