He said, “As a State, we are poised to partner more with your organization and others for our overall good.” He encouraged the oil company and others to take up spaces in the State’s 21-storey smart building, the Udom Emmanuel Towers, noting that it would serve conveniently as their administrative headquarters in Uyo for better collaboration with the State Government.
The Governor also urged Oriental Energy to employ indigenes of the State and train them to contribute effectively to the company and the State’s development. He commended the company for its contributions to the State Security Trust Fund and encouraged it to establish a permanent base in Akwa Ibom, assuring them of continued peace and a good working environment.
“I invite you to take a look at our Ibom Deep Sea Port and the possibility of working together in that aspect because it will surely bring great benefits,” he emphasized.
