Secondary school teachers in Edo and Delta States can now apply for the 2026 NNPC/SEPLAT Teachers Empowerment Programme (STEP), an initiative designed to improve teaching skills and strengthen student engagement in classrooms.

The programme focuses on helping teachers adopt more creative teaching methods, encourage active learning, and create a more well-rounded educational experience for students. Through STEP, participating teachers will gain new strategies that can make lessons more interactive, practical, and effective for secondary school learners.

The initiative is part of efforts to support teachers with modern teaching approaches that improve classroom participation and learning outcomes. By equipping teachers with better tools and ideas, the programme aims to positively impact both educators and their students across participating schools.
