Applications are now open for the Media & Information Literacy Fellowship 2026, a three-month virtual programme created for young people across Nigeria. The initiative invites applicants from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory who are interested in strengthening their understanding of digital media, information use, and responsible online engagement.

The fellowship is designed to help participants develop practical knowledge in digital literacy, artificial intelligence awareness, critical thinking, and responsible media participation. Through structured virtual sessions, fellows will learn how to analyse information, identify misinformation, and engage with media platforms in a more informed and responsible way.

Participants selected for the programme will take part in intensive online training sessions led by experienced media and digital experts. Fellows will also gain access to digital learning tools and practical resources that will support their work during and after the programme.

At the end of the programme, successful fellows will be awarded a fellowship certificate and given the opportunity to join a growing national network of young digital advocates promoting media literacy and responsible information sharing.
