Search interest in the NNPC recruitment portal has increased again across Nigeria, with many people asking whether the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Limited) has started recruiting.

At the moment, NNPC Limited has clearly stated that it is not conducting any recruitment exercise. The company recently warned the public to ignore online messages claiming that new vacancies are available.

According to an official notice released by NNPC Limited, any genuine recruitment announcement will only be published on its official website and verified social media platforms. The company also advised Nigerians to be careful of websites and individuals spreading false recruitment information.

Many people searching for the NNPC recruitment portal often come across different links online. However, the only official careers portal for NNPC Limited is https://careers.nnpcgroup.com. This is the platform where job openings are normally published whenever recruitment begins.

A visit to the portal currently shows that there are no active job listings. This confirms that the recruitment process has not started yet. When the company begins a new recruitment exercise, the available positions will be displayed on the careers page for applicants to submit their applications.

NNPC Limited also emphasised that it does not charge any fees for job applications. Candidates are advised not to pay money to anyone claiming to offer recruitment slots or special assistance.

The company added that applicants must provide correct and verifiable information during any recruitment process. If false information is discovered at any stage, the applicant will be disqualified and may face legal action.

Although recruitment is not open now, it can begin at any time once the company makes an official announcement. Nigerians interested in working with NNPC Limited are therefore encouraged to regularly check the official careers portal for updates.

Until then, the public should rely only on verified information and avoid fake recruitment advertisements circulating online.
