The Nasarawa State Ministry of Education has announced the commencement of registration for the 2026/2027 National Common Entrance Examination for admission into Federal and nominated State Technical Colleges, as organised by the Federal Ministry of Education.
According to the ministry, the registration process began on 26 January 2026 and will remain open until 24 May 2026. Parents, guardians, and interested candidates are encouraged to complete the process within the stipulated period to avoid missing the opportunity.
The examination is scheduled to be conducted nationwide on 6 June 2026, providing eligible students the opportunity to gain admission into technical colleges across the country. Candidates seeking to participate in the examination are required to complete their registration online through the official portal at https://student.nabteb.gov.ng.
The ministry also stated that all applicants must provide a valid National Identification Number (NIN) during the registration process. This requirement is mandatory for successful completion of the application.
In addition, only candidates between the ages of 13 and 20 are eligible to register for the examination. Applicants below 13 years or above 20 years will be automatically disqualified during the screening process.
