NDLEA Recruitment 2026: Form Not Out, No Official Announcement

Search interest around “Is NDLEA recruitment form out?” has increased sharply across Nigeria, especially on Facebook where multiple posts are now suggesting that the 2026 application process is about to begin. However, checks across official channels show that there is no such recruitment exercise currently in progress.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has not released any statement announcing a new intake for 2026. A review of its official platforms, including its website and verified communication channels, shows no advertisement, no application guidelines, and no open portal for recruitment. The only active NDLEA portal at the moment is related to drug integrity and travel clearance, not job applications.

This aligns with the agency’s established process. NDLEA recruitment is only valid when formally announced through its official website and recognised government communication platforms. Outside of that, any circulating link or claim remains unofficial. The last widely confirmed recruitment exercise was conducted in 2023, and since then, there has been no verified update indicating a new round.

Meanwhile, Facebook has become a major source of confusion. Several posts and groups are currently sharing projected dates, “insider updates,” and supposed timelines for the 2026 recruitment. None of these claims are traceable to NDLEA. They are largely speculative and follow a familiar pattern seen in previous years, where rising public interest is quickly exploited by misleading posts.

Fact-checking organisations have previously flagged similar NDLEA recruitment claims on social media as false, warning that such information is often used to mislead applicants or redirect them to unofficial platforms.

At this point, there is no NDLEA recruitment form available. Applicants are advised to rely strictly on official NDLEA announcements and avoid engaging with unverified links or payment requests.
