NAF DSSC 34/2025 List Released — Training Starts 18 April
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has officially released the list of successful candidates for the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 34/2025. This follows the completion of the Selection Board Interview held at NAF Base Kaduna between 12 January and 8 February 2026.
If you applied for the DSSC programme, this is an important update. Candidates who made the list are expected to begin training very soon, and strict instructions have been issued by the Air Force.
Training Date and Reporting Details
According to the NAF, all successful candidates are to report for a six-month Basic Cadet Training programme at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Afaka, Kaduna.
Training is scheduled to begin on Saturday, 18 April 2026.
Candidates must report with all required documents and complete registration on or before 6:00 pm on Monday, 20 April 2026. Failure to report within this period will lead to automatic disqualification.
It is also important to note that candidates will only become full members of the Nigerian Air Force after successfully completing the training and being commissioned as officers.
Required Documents for Screening
All shortlisted candidates must come along with both original and photocopies of the following documents:
- First School Leaving Certificate
- WAEC, NECO or NABTEB result
- Degree or HND certificate
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
- NAF Applicant Acknowledgement Card
- Signed Parent or Guardian Consent Form
- Local Government Area Certificate of Origin
Serving military personnel are also required to present release letters and official passes from their commanders.
Candidates who fail to present the original copies of these documents will not be admitted into the training programme.
Items to Bring for Training
Candidates are also expected to come with the following personal items:
- Three pairs of blue shorts and white round neck vests
- Two pairs of white canvas shoes
- Two pairs of white shorts
- Four pairs of white socks
- Toiletries, shaving kit, black polish and brushes
- Two white bed sheets and pillowcases
- Pyjamas
- Black swimming wear
- Two pairs of black and white trousers
- Two white long-sleeve shirts
- One dark lounge suit
- Two belts (preferably black)
- One pair of black cover shoes (for males)
- One black rubber strap wristwatch
- Pressing iron
- Six passport photographs
Additional Items for Female Candidates
Female candidates are to also bring:
- One pair of black low heel cover shoes
- Four dark lounge skirts
- Four pairs of black or blue tights
- Two trouser suits

Final Note
