TAF Africa has opened applications for field observers ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 General Elections.
The recruitment is open to committed, civic-minded and non-partisan residents of Anambra, Cross River, Ekiti, Enugu, Kwara, Lagos and Taraba states.
Successful applicants will receive training and be deployed to assigned polling units to observe electoral processes and assess the inclusion of women, persons with disabilities, young people and media groups.
Observers will also monitor the functionality of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), document incidents and report findings on Election Day.
Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
The exercise is intended to support transparent and inclusive presidential elections by documenting what happens at polling units. Applicants should be prepared to remain impartial and carry out their observation duties responsibly and carefully.
Applications close on November 4, 2026.
