The Zamfara State Committee for the Recruitment of Teachers has announced the release of shortlisted candidates for the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) teacher recruitment CBT examination.
According to the public service announcement dated May 10, 2026, the committee said 1,375 eligible candidates were screened and shortlisted for the CBT stage of the recruitment exercise.
The committee directed applicants who applied for the TVET teaching positions to check their names and assigned CBT centres through the recruitment portal used during application, Local Government Councils’ Secretariats, LGEA offices, and official social media platforms.
The CBT examination has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 8:00am.
The committee said the examination will hold across three designated CBT centres in the state.
Candidates from Zamfara North, including Birnin Magaji, Kaura Namoda, Shinkafi and Zurmi LGAs, are expected to sit for the examination at AMLAK Technology Kaura Namoda.
Applicants from Bungudu, Gusau, Maru and Tsafe LGAs will write their CBT examination at AMLAK Technology Gusau.
Candidates from Zamfara West, covering Anka, Bakura, Bukkuyum, Gummi, Maradun and Talata Mafara LGAs, have been assigned to Talata Mafara Community Development CBT Center.
The committee advised shortlisted candidates to visit their assigned CBT venues before the examination date to confirm their allocated time and other necessary details.
It also warned that there will be no alternative arrangement for candidates who fail to appear for the examination on the scheduled date.
