The Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) has begun preparations for the first cohort of its Entrepreneurship Training Programme 8.0 in-person workshop, with selected participants expected to attend sessions across six states next month.
In a post shared by the bank, DBN announced that the hands-on workshop will hold in Kwara, Kaduna and Adamawa states from June 9 to June 11, while Ondo, Edo and Anambra states will host participants from June 16 to June 18.
According to the bank, the programme is strictly by invitation and only selected participants will take part in the physical training sessions.
“We’re excited to announce the first cohort of the DBN Entrepreneurship Training Programme 8.0 In-Person Workshop, which will take place next month,” the bank said.
“Selected participants, get ready, your hands-on learning experience is almost here.”
The training sessions are expected to hold at Ilorin Innovation Hub in Kwara State, The Pyramid Hotel in Kaduna State, and City Green Hotel in Adamawa State for the first phase of the programme.
For the second phase, participants will converge at Royal Birds Hotels and Towers in Ondo State, John Oyegun Public Service Academy in Edo State, and IDK Training Center in Anambra State.
DBN said the entrepreneurship programme is designed to support business owners with practical training, business development knowledge and capacity-building opportunities aimed at improving small business growth across Nigeria.
The Entrepreneurship Training Programme has become one of DBN’s major capacity development initiatives targeted at Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the country.
