So far, Nigerians have currently received payments under the Federal Government’s ₦50,000 National Emergency Relief and Stabilisation Intervention (NERSI) through four platforms: Moniepoint, OPay, MoMo Payment Service Bank (PSB) and NairaGram.
Beneficiaries have shared transaction evidence showing that the money was credited and could be withdrawn or transferred. These platforms are among the providers approved by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction to deliver the support.
The grant targets selected vulnerable households. It is not automatically available to every Nigerian on these financial institutions. Beneficiaries are selected using verified national identity records and the National Social Register, while payments are made in phases.
Having an account does not guarantee your selection. Those who have not received a selection message should wait for official notification as long as they are eligible. No application fee or middleman is required.
How to withdraw from your wallet
Beneficiaries whose ₦50,000 has been credited can log into their provider’s app or use its USSD code to transfer the money to a bank account or POS agent. They can also withdraw through an agent. Check your balance and never disclose your PIN or one-time password (OTP).
