June 2, 2025 – The Presidential Amnesty Programme is taking steps to partner with the Bayelsa State Institute of Entrepreneurship and Vocational Training to train selected beneficiaries of the programme in the state.

On Monday, June 2, 2025, a team from the Amnesty Office, led by Mr. Lambert Dauemighan, Head of the Vocational Training Unit, visited the institute’s training centre in Sampou for an inspection. Mr. Dauemighan stated that the purpose of the visit was to assess the facilities and confirm if the institute is fit for the training of students under the Presidential Amnesty Programme.

“We are here to make sure the institute can support the practical and technical needs of our students,” Mr. Dauemighan said during the visit.
