June 18, 2025 – The Oji River Local Government Council in Enugu State has officially launched a scholarship scheme aimed at supporting indigenes of the area who have gained admission into the Federal Co-operative College, Oji River.
The Council announced that the scholarship will cover school registration, ND 1 school fees, and hostel accommodation for successful applicants. This educational funding program is part of the Council’s effort to improve access to higher education and ease financial burdens on local families.
“We are committed to ensuring that no qualified indigene is left behind due to financial constraints,” said Mr. Greg Chijioke Anyaegbudike, the Chairman, Oji River Local Government, Enugu State.
To be eligible, applicants must be indigenes of Oji River LGA and must have secured admission into the Federal Co-operative College, Oji River. Proof of admission, including an official offer letter, is required.
