August 8, 2025 – The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has released the updated TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) list of all approved Vocational Enterprise Institutions (VEIs), Training Centers, and MCP facilities across Nigeria.
The information, which is now available on the NBTE’s official website, contains 1,268 accredited centers nationwide.
According to the NBTE, “The list is public and accessible to everyone. Candidates should not message or pay anybody on WhatsApp, Facebook, or any other platform to get it.” The agency emphasized that there is no downloadable TVET training center PDF, as the entire list is hosted online for public access.
The published list contains key details, including:

b. Enterprise
c. Ownership Category (Private)
d. TVET Category
e. State
f. LGA
g. Address
The approved Vocational Enterprise Institutions, Training Centers, and MCPs are located across all the following states:

To check the list:
a. Go to www.digitalnbte.nbte.gov.ng/Public/PUCVEIs
b. If you are using a mobile phone, switch it to desktop mode (a PC is better)
c. Click on Please Select Category

d. Select All Institutions

e. Click on Retrieve

f. When the full list appears, click the Search bar

g. Enter the name of your state, example, Kano, and it will automatically bring up full accredited/approved TVET list for that state

The NBTE reiterated, “Any list that is not from the official website is fake.” This release aims to help candidates, investors, and stakeholders in technical and vocational education access authentic information directly from the source.
Candidates are to ignore unofficial lists. There will be further information on FME TVET posting once the trainee list has been concluded and released.
News update (August 22, 2025)
As of August 22, 2025, the number of approved TVET training centers has increased to 1,594. This is coming after the reopening of the trainers portal application.
