August 13, 2025 – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced continued support for states driving development through effective policies and action.

Speaking after a meeting with Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State, the president said discussions focused on agriculture, infrastructure, security, and economic growth initiatives aimed at improving the lives of citizens.

“I met with Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State to review progress on agriculture, infrastructure, security, and economic growth initiatives,” Tinubu stated.

He praised the governor’s leadership, noting, “Governor Oyebanji’s clear vision, prudent management, and focus on empowering the good people of Ekiti State to deliver his ‘Vision of Shared Prosperity’ reflects the spirit of our party, the All Progressives Congress and the Renewed Hope Agenda.”

Tinubu emphasised that his administration remains committed to human capital development, strengthening national security, and ensuring sustainable prosperity for all Nigerians.

“Our administration will continue to work closely with states that match policy with action,” he affirmed, adding that collaboration between the federal and state governments is key to long-term economic stability and improved quality of life.
