Airtel Nigeria has opened fresh job opportunities for experienced professionals across key business units as the telecom company expands its workforce with new mid-career recruitment openings.
The company announced that applications are now open through its Mid-Career Professionals Application Programme for Nigerians with at least eight years of work experience across different sectors.
According to information published on Airtel Nigeria’s recruitment platform, the openings are targeted at competent and performance-driven professionals with strong industry experience, especially those in telecoms, FMCG, manufacturing and multinational companies.
The available openings are spread across three major business areas including Sales & Distribution, Finance, and Airtel Business (Enterprise).
Airtel said the programme is open not only to professionals already working in the telecom industry, but also to qualified candidates from other sectors looking to transition into telecoms.
The company added that successful applicants would have access to competitive remuneration, employee benefits, career progression opportunities and professional development in a challenging work environment.

For the Sales & Distribution category, Airtel said applicants must have a minimum of eight years of retail sales experience, particularly in telecoms, FMCG or manufacturing sectors.
The company explained that candidates are expected to possess strong knowledge of RTM and GTM strategies, alongside experience in sales, business development and revenue generation.
Applicants are also required to demonstrate excellent communication, analytical, relationship management and execution skills.
For the Finance function, Airtel said candidates must possess a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, while professional certifications such as ACA or ACCA would serve as an added advantage.
The telecom company added that applicants should also have at least eight years of experience in telecoms, FMCG or multinational companies, with strong expertise in accounting operations, financial reporting and IFRS standards.
Under the Airtel Business (Enterprise) category, the company said candidates must have at least eight years of key account management experience, preferably within the telecom industry.
According to Airtel, applicants are expected to have strong analytical, communication, customer management, negotiation and teamwork skills.
The company noted that successful candidates must also demonstrate execution capacity and the ability to manage enterprise customer relationships effectively.
