The Ministry of Science and Digital Economy has announced that officially all active public servants on the Unified Akwa Ibom State Payroll statewide can now access their individual payroll accounts through the Public Servants’ Portal in preparation for the forthcoming Public Servants’ Verification Exercise.
The portal allows officers to securely view their payroll records, including salary and allowances, employment details, historical payslips from June 2025 onward, deductions, taxes, loans, and downloadable payslips. The initiative is aimed at improving transparency and easing the verification process ahead of the exercise.
Each officer has been assigned a unique access code which allows authorized third parties to verify payslips when required. Officers can also carry out self-verification directly from their accounts either from the office or at home, without the need for physical documentation.
To access the portal, public servants are required to visit the platform and select the option for public servants without login credentials to request access details. Complete the form using your registered phone number and National Identification Number (NIN), ensuring that the phone number matches the one on record. Upon successful validation, a One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent via SMS and WhatsApp. Enter the OTP, reset their password, and log in using your Staff Number and newly created password.
All public servants must complete the process on or before 15 February 2026 in preparation for the self-verification exercise. Self-service computer kiosks are being deployed across all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies to support staff without access to computers or smartphones.
