The university is recruiting for positions including Professor, Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer, Lecturer I, Lecturer II and Assistant Lecturer. The requirements vary according to the position. Candidates for senior academic positions are expected to have relevant postgraduate qualifications, teaching and research experience, as well as appropriate publications.
For example, candidates applying for Professor are expected to have significant publications and academic experience, while applicants for Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer and Lecturer positions must meet the specified qualifications, publication and teaching requirements.
The institution also announced non-teaching vacancies, including Programmer II, Technologist II, Accountant II, Medical Officer, Pharmacy Intern, Medical Laboratory Scientist and Medical Laboratory Technician.
The university said applicants for the non-teaching positions must possess the qualifications and professional registrations required for their respective roles. Some positions also require NYSC or exemption certificates, depending on the job.
The vacancies cover a wide range of disciplines, including information technology, cybersecurity, accounting, medicine, pharmacy, laboratory science and other professional fields.
The university said the conditions of service are those obtainable in Nigerian universities and as approved by the Federal University of Lafia Governing Council.
