Applications are now open for the NCDMB Digital Transformation & New Technology Training for Young Undergraduate Talent under the Catch the Researcher Young Programme (CRYP).
The programme is organised by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) in partnership with CypherCrescent to help undergraduate students in Nigeria gain modern digital and research skills.

The Digital Transformation & New Technology Training is designed to prepare students for the future of innovation, technology, and advanced research through virtual learning, mentorship, and practical experience.
Participants will receive structured training from experts while developing industry-relevant competencies in science, engineering, and technology fields.
Programme highlights include virtual training sessions and digital laboratories, mentorship from industry professionals, Data Analytics and Cloud Computing training, Digital Transformation frameworks, research project support, innovation opportunities, and monthly stipend support for selected participants.
The programme also aims to strengthen students’ research methodology knowledge and improve their practical understanding of digital tools and data analysis.
Students selected for the programme will gain valuable exposure that can support postgraduate studies and prepare them for industry-driven problem solving.
Requirements
To qualify for the programme, applicants must be members of student-related associations and must also be registered with NOGIC JQS.
Applicants are also required to have a laptop and stable internet connection. In addition, candidates must have a CGPA of 3.5 and above from the last academic session.
Who Can Apply
The programme is open to 300 and 400 Level undergraduate students, students currently on Industrial Training (IT), and students studying science, engineering, and technology-related courses in public universities across Nigeria.
Eligible fields include Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Geosciences, Environmental Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, and Electrical, Mechanical, and Chemical Engineering.
