Startups building solutions to real problems in Nigeria can now apply for the NITDA-Tech Revolution Africa Builders Festival ’26, an initiative designed to connect promising technology companies with institutions, investors and potential business opportunities.

The programme is open to startups working in areas including healthcare, EdTech, logistics, supply chain, AI, cloud, data, AgriTech, connectivity, FinTech, e-governance and other technology sectors.
According to the organisers, the Builders Festival will match startup solutions with real challenges submitted by Nigerian corporates and government agencies. Selected founders will have the opportunity to present their products, meet institutions with identified needs and explore funding or pilot opportunities.
The programme includes a ₦3 billion investment and contract pipeline involving venture capital, angel investment and government innovation support. Organisers also say selected startups can gain direct market access by being matched with MDAs and corporate organisations seeking technology solutions.
The festival will also feature masterclasses covering areas such as product development, engineering and go-to-market strategy. Successful startups will have an opportunity to enter a deal room during the Digital Nigeria International Conference ’26, where they can negotiate potential pilot agreements or memoranda of understanding with participating institutions.
The organisers said more than 100 institutional challenges have been identified, while more than 50 high-growth startups are expected to be pre-qualified for deployment opportunities.
The challenges cover areas such as digital civil registration, satellite infrastructure, cargo monitoring, customs risk profiling, library management, SME finance, cross-border payments, patient identification, vaccine supply chains and smart infrastructure.
Applicants should note that the programme is looking for startups with products already in use or close to deployment. The selection panel will consider market traction, team resilience and product maturity. The organisers specifically stated that they are seeking ready-to-deploy solutions rather than ideas that are still at the research stage.
Applications close on Monday, October 5, 2026. Successful startups will be invited to showcase their solutions at the Digital Nigeria International Conference ’26, scheduled for November 10 to 12, 2026, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Center in Abuja.
The festival provides participating startups with opportunities to demonstrate their products, connect with potential customers and partners, and explore investment and pilot arrangements.
It targets founders with practical, scalable solutions for Nigeria’s needs.
