The Federal Government has reopened applications for the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) 2.0, offering eligible Nigerian graduates 12-month paid work placements with a monthly stipend of ₦150,000.
The programme is funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). It aims to address graduate unemployment by connecting young Nigerians with work opportunities in public and private sector organisations across the country.
Successful applicants will gain practical workplace experience, develop professional skills and receive mentorship to improve their career prospects. The programme also provides employability, digital literacy and entrepreneurship training.
Placements are available across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Fellows will work with host organisations during the 12-month placement.
After completing the fellowship, participants who are not retained by their host organisations or who have not secured other employment may access the Alumni Talent Hub for an additional six months of unpaid career guidance and support.
The selection process includes documentation checks, a computer-based aptitude test, a video submission and a psychometric assessment. Applicants who pass the process may proceed to onboarding and placement when matched with a host organisation.
Previous applicants do not need to submit a new application, according to the announcement.
