Rivers State University Teaching Hospital has opened applications for its 2026 Housemanship and Internship Programme for qualified healthcare graduates across different medical fields.

The hospital invited applications from candidates seeking placement as House Officers, Intern Nurses, Intern Medical Laboratory Scientists, Intern Pharmacists, Intern Optometrists, Intern Radiographers, Intern Physiotherapists and other eligible interns.
Eligiblity Requirements
According to the management, applicants must possess a recognised university degree relevant to their profession and a current temporary or practicing licence issued by their professional registration council.
Applicants are also expected to upload the required credentials during the application process. The documents include Curriculum Vitae, passport photograph, licence or registration certificate, degree certificate or statement of result, WAEC/O’Level certificate, First School Leaving Certificate, Local Government Identification Letter, Birth Certificate or Statutory Declaration of Age, as well as two recommendation letters.
Candidates should ensure all documents are properly uploaded before submission to avoid disqualification during screening.
Applications for the 2026 internship and housemanship programme will close on June 11, 2026.
