The SKAID Foundation has opened applications for the SKAID Gambia Masters Scholarship Scheme 2026 for qualified Southern Kaduna indigenes.

The scholarship opportunity is for postgraduate studies at the American International University, The Gambia. Interested applicants can apply for the following programmes:
• Conversion of Pharmaceutical Technician to Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy)
• Medical Laboratory Technician (Master’s Programme)
According to the foundation, applicants must be indigenes of Southern Kaduna and must have graduated from a recognised university. Candidates are also expected to have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 and must have studied a STEM-related course.
Applicants must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme and should be willing to serve as a SKAID Ambassador after the scholarship programme.
Application Requirements
Interested candidates are expected to submit the following documents:
• Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Evidence of state or local government of origin
• Certified true copies of academic transcripts and degree certificates
• Statement of Purpose not more than 500 words
• Two academic or professional reference letters
The Statement of Purpose should explain how the chosen Master’s programme aligns with the development goals of Southern Kaduna.
The deadline for submission of applications is 15th June 2026.
