Apply for Sokoto Community Health Workers Recruitment 2025

Sokoto State Government has opened its application portal for the recruitment of qualified Community Health Workers who are indigenes of the state. The government announced that this exercise is being carried out in collaboration with the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHDA), inviting eligible applicants to apply for positions under CHEW and JCHEW categories.

According to the statement, the entire recruitment process is free, and applicants are warned not to pay anyone, as the committee noted that no individual is authorized to collect money.

To qualify, applicants must be Sokoto State indigenes and must hold a CHEW diploma or certificate, or JCHEW qualifications, along with a valid practising licence from CHPRBN. Required documents include educational certificates, notification of registration, a current practising licence, proof of indigene, birth certificate, NIN slip, and a passport photograph.

Applicants are to click on Start Application on the portal to create an account using a valid email and phone number. After this, they must fill in their correct biodata before uploading all scanned documents. Applicants must select only their genuine Local Government and Ward of Origin, adding that choosing a different LGA is not allowed.

The application window runs from 24th November to 6th December 2025, and interested persons can apply through https://chworkers.sokotostate.gov.ng/. Shortlisted candidates will be notified through their registered email or through the recruitment portal.
