The Nigeria Youth SDGs Network, in partnership with the Global Initiative for Food Security and Ecosystem Preservation (GIFSEP), is recruiting young Nigerians as Social Media Ambassadors for the Solar Power Nigeria project.

The programme is designed for young advocates, content creators and digital storytellers interested in supporting Nigeria’s clean energy transition through digital storytelling and online engagement.
Selected ambassadors will help promote Solar Power Nigeria activities, events and opportunities, create content on solar and renewable energy, support digital campaigns, mobilise young people and participate in virtual training, briefings and other ambassador activities.
The programme is also expected to help amplify conversations around energy access, sustainability and youth opportunities. Applicants do not need previous energy expertise, as the organisers say willingness to learn and engage is important.
Who Can Apply?
The opportunity is open to young Nigerians aged 18 to 35 who are passionate about solar energy, climate action, renewable energy, energy access or youth development. Applicants should be active on social media with at least 500 followers on one platform and have experience or interest in content creation, digital advocacy, storytelling or communications.
Applicants must also be able to commit to the programme and campaign activities and represent Solar Power Nigeria responsibly and professionally.
The role requires active online participation and responsible communication throughout.
