Apply for SOS Village NYSC Climate Education Training

SOS Children’s Villages has opened applications for its Climate Education Train the Trainer Workshop targeted at National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members in Abuja. The call encourages young Nigerians to join what is described as a “Corp Climate Literacy Program” aimed at empowering children and building community impact.

The programme is delivered in partnership with Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative and seeks motivated Corp Members with interest in climate education, community engagement and social impact. This is an opportunity is for passionate NYSC Corp Members eager to make a real impact and want to empower children, gain valuable skills, and be part of a transformative program.

Selected participants will gain hands-on experience by completing a mandatory school-based project. The organisers noted that participants will also strengthen their CVs and become part of a network of young change makers.

To qualify, applicants must be currently serving in Abuja, fall within the age range of 18 to 30 years, and be available to attend the official launch in the Federal Capital Territory. Female Corp Members are strongly encouraged to apply and preference will be given to those serving in schools.

The programme includes a one month learning period from December 2025 to January 2026. Candidates must also commit to running a step-down training for students, pupils and children.

The event is scheduled for 10 December 2025, with venue information to be shared with selected applicants.
