YASIF Nigeria, in collaboration with the International Association for Volunteer Effort (IAVE) and IBM SkillsBuild, has opened applications for Cohort 9 of the IAVE RRA SkillsBuild Programme, offering fully funded digital skills training.
The programme is designed to equip young people with practical, in-demand skills that can improve employability, support career growth and prepare participants for opportunities in the changing world of work.
Available learning tracks cover 12 areas, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data science and data management, entrepreneurship and startups, digital and social media marketing, communication and public speaking, leadership and empowerment, career development and employability, financial literacy and management, project planning and management, creative thinking and innovation, and climate change and sustainability.
Participants will have access to self-paced courses, allowing them to learn flexibly. The programme also offers practical, industry-relevant training and IBM-recognised certificates.
The organisers said the initiative provides fully funded access to learning and an opportunity for participants to build future-ready skills. The announcement did not state an application deadline, age limit or specific eligibility requirements.
