The YOUNGO Food and Agriculture Working Group has opened submissions for the YOUNGO Youth-Led Projects Compilation Vol. 2, giving young people an opportunity to showcase projects and initiatives focused on food, agriculture, land use and climate action.

The call is open to youth-led or youth-centred projects, initiatives and policies that are creating impact at local, national, regional or global levels.

YOUNGO, the official youth constituency of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), said the compilation is designed to highlight solutions and actions being driven by young people across different communities and regions.

Eligible submissions may include grassroots and community-based initiatives, programmes and policies working in areas such as food and agriculture, land use, agrobiodiversity and climate action.

The opportunity is intended to increase the visibility of youth-led work among governments, United Nations (UN) agencies, funders and potential partners.

According to the organisers, selected projects will be showcased through YOUNGO and contributed to the UNFCCC Sharm El-Sheikh Joint Work on Implementation (SSJW) Portal.

The organisers said greater visibility could help participating projects attract potential funding, partnerships and other forms of support, while also strengthening recognition of youth-led action.

Young people with projects that fall within the stated areas are encouraged to use the opportunity to present their work and contribute to a wider picture of youth-led solutions across the world.

The deadline for submissions is October 25, 2026, at 23:59 Central European Summer Time (CEST). Applicants are advised to provide accurate information about their projects and carefully review the available guidelines before submitting.
