The Kwara State Civil Service Commission has announced new job vacancies for medical and health professionals following the approval of the state governor. Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON has approved the immediate recruitment of fresh personnel into the health sector to strengthen healthcare delivery across the state.
This development was confirmed by the Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Hajia Kifayat Jimoh, during a media briefing held in her office. She stated, “Governor AbdulRazaq’s approval for this recruitment is part of his administration’s ongoing commitment to revamp the state’s health system and improve quality service delivery in all local government areas.”
Hajia Jimoh further commended the Governor’s focus on transforming the state’s healthcare services, highlighting the progress already made in infrastructure and patient turnout.
She explained that “a public notice for the recruitment has been published, and interested candidates should carefully follow the guidelines.”
The Kwara State Civil Service Commission invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following healthcare job positions Medical Officers, Staff Nurse/Staff Midwife, Pharmacists, Medical Laboratory Scientists, Medical Record Officers and Health Attendants.
Qualifications
- Valid professional certification in the respective field
- National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge certificate
- Higher education qualification
- WAEC or SSCE certificate
- First School Leaving Certificate
- Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
- Citizenship certificate
