The Plateau State Government, in partnership with the Plateau State Universal Basic Education Board (PSUBEB), has announced the recruitment of 1,500 qualified teachers across the state. This new hiring is part of the state’s HUMAN CAPITAL OPPORTUNITY PROSPERITY AND EQUITY (HOPE) PROGRAM, which aims to strengthen the education system and improve learning in public primary schools.
According to the announcement, this recruitment drive is a bold step by the state government to boost the educational workforce and deliver quality education. Governor Caleb Mutfwang approved the recruitment to ensure children in Plateau State have access to better learning.
The available teaching positions cover key subjects like English Language, Mathematics, Basic Science, and Social Studies. Applicants must hold one of the following minimum qualifications: NCE, B.Ed, M.Ed, or any other recognized teaching certificate. Other requirements include good communication skills, subject knowledge, and a passion for helping young learners grow.
