Apply: Space Science PGD Program at NASRDA in Collaboration with UN

The National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) has announced that admission is still ongoing for its 2025/2026 Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Programme in Space Science and Technology Applications. The program is being hosted at the African Regional Centre for Space Science and Technology Education in English (UN-ARCSSTE-E), located on the Obafemi Awolowo University campus, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.

The 9-month programme is held in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA). According to NASRDA, “This is a unique opportunity for young Africans to gain practical and theoretical knowledge in high-demand areas of space technology.”

Courses offered include Remote Sensing & GIS, Satellite Meteorology & Global Climate, Space & Atmospheric Science, Global Navigation Satellite Systems, Satellite Communications, and Space Law and Policy. The program start date is October 2025.

How to Apply

The centre stated, “Applicants can apply through our website at https://arcsstee.org.ng/pgd-application-process/ or contact the admission office directly.” Interested candidates are encouraged to apply early and take part in shaping Africa’s role in global space innovation.
