May 30, 2025 – Over ₦100 million in funding, business support, and cloud credits are available to Nigerian and African entrepreneurs in the newly announced Startup Tech & Innovation Challenge/Hackathon 2025. This initiative, led by Startup Abuja in collaboration with Transnet Cloud, targets early-stage startups, SMEs, and innovators working on tech-enabled solutions.
“Do you own a startup or have a tech-driven idea but lack the resources to grow? You’re not alone,” say organizers. This challenge is designed to offer financial backing, mentorship, and visibility to promising ideas and businesses.
Participants can access prizes that include up to ₦1,500,000 in AWS credits, business mentorship, and investor-readiness support. All selected applicants will receive ₦500,000 worth of AWS credits to help build and scale on the cloud without upfront costs.
The application is open to anyone aged 14 to 45 who is in Africa—or outside Africa but building for its market. Whether you’re in HealthTech, FinTech, EduTech, GreenTech, or AgroTech, this is an opportunity to take your idea from concept to funding.
