May 29, 2025 – The Bayelsa State Civil Service Commission has officially announced that the long-awaited recruitment examination will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, between 11:00 am and 12 noon. According to the Commission, the exam will be a 30-minute Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted online. Candidates can use smartphones or computers to take the test and are not required to be at any physical centre.
A government official said, “We want a fair and flexible process, which is why candidates can write from any location.”
This examination applies to three groups: those with SSCE/NECO, those with OND, ND, or NCE, and those with First Degrees or Master’s Degrees. Candidates must take note of their category before the exam day.
To help candidates understand how the CBT works, the Commission will hold a Mock Exam on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, also from 11:00 am to 12 noon. This practice test is not part of the final assessment but is meant to help candidates prepare.

Candidates will receive their login details (usernames and passwords) via SMS. This will be sent to the phone numbers they used during registration.
