The Borno State Scholarships Board has officially announced a special STEM scholarship for female students from Borno State. This opportunity is open to those who scored 250 and above in the 2025 JAMB examination. The scholarship, supported by Governor Babagana Umara Zulum, targets girls who want to study courses like Engineering, Medicine, Computer Science, Physics, and Agriculture.
“This is part of our efforts to promote female participation in Science and Technology,” the Board said in a public statement.
To be eligible, applicants must be female indigenes of Borno State and must have selected a STEM-related course in their JAMB. They are also required to submit a valid JAMB result slip and proof of admission (even if provisional) to a recognized university or polytechnic. Additional documents include a scanned copy of the JAMB score, an admission letter, and a local government identification certificate.

How to Apply
All documents should be submitted physically to the Borno State Scholarships Board office located at Kano/Jos Road, Maiduguri. The final date for submission is 30th June 2025. Applicants should also include a phone number and email address.
