Call for Application: The Scoop Storytelling Initiative (2025)

The Scoop Storytelling Initiative is inviting journalists and youth-led organizations to a two-day training on how to report youth-led initiatives for governance and accountability.

This training is for young journalists and activists who want to improve their skills in reporting on youth movements, civil campaigns, human rights, and open-government projects.

To apply, you must:

• Be between 18 and 30 years old.
• Live in Lagos, Kano, or Abuja.
• Have experience in reporting or documenting youth-led movements and related issues.
• Show how this training will help your future work.

Only selected applicants will receive an acceptance email.

Who can apply? Journalists and youth-led organization members.
Application deadline: 28 February 2025.
Selection process: Only qualified applicants will be chosen.
