The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the final stage of recruitment into four services: a drug integrity test conducted by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
Scheduling opens Monday, November 2, 2026. Candidates are warned not to attempt booking before that date.
The exercise covers shortlisted applicants for the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) and Federal Fire Service (FFS).
CDCFIB stressed that the test is free because the Federal Government has already paid for it. Candidates must not pay NDLEA, agents, groups, cybercafe operators or anyone else to schedule or conduct the test.
The Board also warned applicants to avoid fraudulent links and information outside its official recruitment portal. Candidates must access the NDLEA drug test link only through the CDCFIB website.
The announcement marks the final stage of recruitment. Shortlisted candidates should follow official instructions and schedule their tests through the approved channel.
The Board reiterated its commitment to a transparent, free and merit-driven recruitment exercise, urging applicants to remain vigilant against fraudsters.
What shortlisted candidates must bring
Candidates attending designated NDLEA test centres must bring:
- Their Drug Test Application Slip.
- A valid means of identification, such as a National Identification Number (NIN) slip or National ID.
Candidates should schedule their test only through the official CDCFIB recruitment portal: https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng. Booking begins November 2, 2026.
